Rapid Diagnosis of HIV-1 virus by Near Infrared Spectroscopy: based on Partial least squares regression

چکیده

Currently, the laboratory diagnostic tests available for HIV-1 viral infection are mainly based on serological testing which relies enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) blood HIV antigen detection and reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) specific RNA sequence identification. However, these methods expensive time-consuming, suffer from false positive and/or negative results. Thus, there is an urgent need developing a cost effective, rapid accurate method infection. In order to reduce barriers effective diagnosis, near-infrared spectroscopy (NIR) was used detect virus in human serum, specifically, three absorption peaks with dose-dependent at 1582nm, 1810nm 2363nm were found by multiple FBiPLSR test analysis HIV-nano HIV-EGFP, but not MLV. Therefore, we recommend use of as characteristic spectrum peak, early screening diagnosis serum HIV.

Determination of Protein and Moisture in Fishmeal by Near-Infrared Reflectance Spectroscopy and Multivariate Regression Based on Partial Least Squares

The potential of Near Infrared Reflectance Spectroscopy (NIRS) as a fast method to predict the Crude Protein (CP) and Moisture (M) content in fishmeal by scanning spectra between 1000 and 2500 nm using multivariate regression technique based on Partial Least Squares (PLS) was evaluated. The coefficient of determination in calibration (R2C) and Standard Error of Calibra...

Rapid Quantitative Analysis of Forest Biomass Using Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy and Partial Least Squares Regression

Fourier transform infrared reflectance (FTIR) spectroscopy has been used to predict properties of forest logging residue, a very heterogeneous feedstock material. Properties studied included the chemical composition, thermal reactivity, and energy content. The ability to rapidly determine these properties is vital in the optimization of conversion technologies for the successful commercializati...

An Objective Wavelength Selection Method Based on Moving Window Partial Least Squares for Near-Infrared Spectroscopy

An objective wavelength selection method is proposed for near-infrared (NIR) spectroscopy mainly to overcome the possible subjectivity introduced by moving window partial least squares regression (MWPLS). This improved procedure (iMWPLS) introduced an indicator to evaluate importance of each wavelength and then all wavelengths were ranked by these indicators. On the basis of the indicator ranki...

Rapid Detection of Knot Defects on Wood Surface by Near Infrared Spectroscopy Coupled with Partial Least Squares Discriminant Analysis

Natural defects, especially knots, on the surface of veneers have a great influence on the sorting and degradation of veneers. To realize rapid and accurate knot detection, a study on the possibility of detecting knots was carried out. Samples of poplar, eucalypt, and masson pine were used. The experiments mainly focused on the ability of using the models built with samples from one type of kno...
